Our SS20 collection pays tribute to Gagarin, the first human ever to travel into space. Born in 1934 in a small village to a carpenter and a dairy farmer, Gagarin worked as a foundryman at a steel plant before becoming a military pilot. In 1960 he was selected as one of six candidates for a space program, and his historic flight soon made him a worldwide celebrity. He later went on to train future space travellers. Gagarin died in 1968 when his training jet crashed, just weeks after completing his engineering studies, leaving behind his wife, two daughters, and a legendary legacy.
The strictly limited collection includes a hoodie and a shirt, both made from sustainable cotton and finished with two high-quality silk-screen prints. Each garment carries a label we attach with great care, making every piece unique. Both are available in sizes S, M, L and XL.
Sustainability matters to us, and the collection meets the GOTS, OEKO-TEX 100, WRAP, ISO 14001 and OH-SOS standards.

With AW20, “We Are Together,” we celebrate three values that run deep in eastern culture: hospitality, kindness, and unity. The design is inspired by seals of approval, so wearing a piece from this collection marks you with those values.
Every piece is made from 100% French terry cotton in Portugal. The hoodies and sweatpants use a heavyweight 465 GSM cotton, and the tees a 235 GSM cotton. The fabric holds its shape and stays soft wash after wash, though it can shrink by up to 3%.
We hand-make every print in Switzerland using a heat press and Swiss flex foil, so no two pieces are exactly alike. The hoodie has a blue print, the tee a purple one, and the custom sweater a green one. Each garment also carries an Italian-made label, sewn on by hand.
The collection is completed by our tennis socks, made in Germany from cotton and Lycra and infused with silver for odour reduction. Each sock is marked for its side: one “to the left,” one “to the right.”
We shot the collection in Copenhagen in December, braving the cold by the sea and across the city. A big thank you to our models, our photographer, and everyone who supported us along the way, and to all of you sticking BECT stickers everywhere. ;)
